ICC Men’s World Cup 2023 Schedule Announcement
The International Cricket Council has announced the schedule of Men’s World Cup 2023 which will be played in India on October 5, 2023 at the world’s largest cricket stadium “Ahmedabad” between the defending champions England and New Zealand. On October 6, 2023, Pakistan will play its first match in Hyderabad against a qualifier team. The ICC World Cup 2023 in India will continue for about 48 days in which a total of 46 matches will be played in 10 different grounds.
The host team India will play their first match against Australia on October 8. Like the previous World Cup, the 2023 World Cup will also be played as a round robin format in which each team will play 9 matches and a total of 10 will participate in this World Cup. The final of the World Cup will be played on Sunday, November 19, 2023 in Ahmedabad.
When it comes to Pakistan vs India match, its date is 15 October 2023 which will be played in Ahmedabad itself. In the semi-final, if the Pakistan team qualifies, then the Pakistan cricket team will play the knockout match in Kolkata. If the Pakistan team does not reach the semi-finals, the opposing teams will play in Mumbai. The ICC World Cup 2023 Men’s will be played from 05 October to 19 November 2023. The warm-up matches will be played from September 29 to October 3.
